Hi, I’m Chris, Nick’s long time collaborator and frequent podcast co-host. My love of music comes not as a musician but as a frequent gig attendee, I work with an amazing promoter, Ken Brown of Square Roots Promotions in Portsmouth at a couple of wonderful venues The Wedgewood Rooms and the historic Square Tower in Old Portsmouth which was built in 1494. As we like to tell our American and Canadian bands who play there it’s older than their country,
I think Nick and I complement our views on the tracks we play as he comes at it from a musicians aspect and I from a listeners view. Some of the music may not be from my ‘comfort zone’ but it’s always quality and that’s what the pod promotes.
Liking a lot of music is down to exposure and that’s our aim as two guys who just love new music.
