Hey Nick, thanks for giving Iron Out a spin! Glad you liked it – your chat about the rumbles made me giggle!
It was a recording of thunder, an artistic choice in an early demo that we kept in – we wanted to create the sense of closeness in a small space, while the big wide world is still moving and roaring just outside. It’s hard to pick up on usually but does tend to poke through more with good headphones. Thanks for your lovely comments about the guitar playing too. Marnie / Charlotte xx
